Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 14, 2025
We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
1. What we collect
Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email, and company name. That’s it.
Usage data: We track how you use Claret (which features you use, when you log in) to make the product better.
Customer data: The contacts and information you add to your CRM. This is your data, not ours.
2. Why we collect it
- To provide the service (obviously)
- To send you important updates
- To improve Claret based on how people use it
- To provide support when you need help
3. What we don’t do
We don’t:
- Sell your data to anyone
- Share it with advertisers
- Use it for anything other than running Claret
- Read your customer data unless you ask us to (for support)
4. How we protect it
We use industry-standard encryption and security practices. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We regularly audit our security and fix issues fast.
5. Cookies & tracking
We use cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We use analytics to understand how people use Claret. You can disable cookies, but some features might not work.
6. Third parties
We use a few third-party services:
- Payment processing (we never see your full credit card)
- Hosting providers (to keep Claret running)
- Analytics (to understand usage patterns)
These services have their own privacy policies and we carefully vet them.
7. Your rights
You can:
- Export all your data anytime
- Delete your account and data
- Correct any information we have
- Opt out of marketing emails
8. Data retention
We keep your data as long as your account is active. After you cancel, we hold it for 30 days in case you change your mind, then permanently delete it.
9. International transfers
We’re based in the US, but we serve customers globally. Your data might be stored on servers in different countries. We ensure appropriate protections wherever it’s stored.
10. GDPR & CCPA compliance
For EU residents, we comply with GDPR. For California residents, we comply with CCPA. You have specific rights under these laws—just ask and we’ll help.
11. Kids
Claret isn’t for anyone under 18. If you’re under 18, please don’t use our service.
12. Changes to this policy
We’ll update this policy occasionally. When we do, we’ll email you and post the changes here.
13. Questions?
If you have questions about privacy, email us at hi@saascrack.com. We’re happy to explain anything.
